The membership of the Marine Nature Partnership is made up of 27 organisations whose activities impact on marine management, the majority of whom have statutory powers relevant to the marine environment.
Together these organisations make up the Management Group. The Management Group meets annually in December to discuss management progress and issues. In the interim, it delegates powers to the Steering Group. The Group is chaired by Dr Jane Delany from Newcastle University, who is Head of the Dove Marine Laboratory in Cullercoats and an experienced marine ecologist with expertise in engaging the public in Citizen Science projects.
