There is a restriction on fishing with mobile gear on part of the marine section of the SPA
The marine sections of the SPA are also covered by the Management Scheme for the Berwickshire and North Northumberland Coast European Marine Site and form part of the Berwickshire Marine Reserve (BMR)
The National Trust For Scotland manages St Abb’s Head as a National Nature Reserve. NNR Rangers are employed to undertake conservation management and monitoring of breeding birds and other wildlife interests, and management of visitors.
