The Management Scheme is the tool used by organisations to coordinate their statutory functions and management efforts with regard to marine Special Protection Areas (SPAs) and Special Areas of Conservation (SACs), and Marine Conservation Zones (MCZs) within the
inshore waters between Fast Castle Head in Scotland and the River Tyne in England. The Scheme identifies activities within and close to the inshore waters of Berwickshire, Northumberland and North Tyneside, along with the tools available for their management
and details of the authorities responsible for their regulation. The associated Delivery Plan sets out in further detail how individual pressures or activities are managment.
